Jesse had one simple goal when he came to SVCOFFROAD, make his Gen 2 Ford Raptor into a unique vehicle that stands out from the herd. With a budget decided on and game plan in place, we were able to complete his dream off-roader that retained all the daily drivability of a factory truck.
First and foremost on a build of this magnitude is almost always to figure out what's going to happen with the suspension. The game plan called for our SVCOFFROAD Gen 2 Mid Travel Kit featuring King Shocks 2.5" Coilovers coupled with King 3.5" external bypass's utilizing remote reservoirs for added cooling. The front end mid travel kit netted Jesse over 16" of front wheel travel while retaining the factory coil-buckets plus his factory 4wd system. The SVC Gen 2 Mid Travel Kit features all new upper and lower control arms, longer axles, uprights, aluminum steering tierods, stainless steel brake lines, plus all grade 8 hardware and lower pivot deletes to finish off the front end suspension. The back, received similar treatment with an SVCOFFROAD Bypass Rack, massive King 4.0 piggy back bypass shocks, track bars, SVCOFFROAD Adjustable Bump System and a host of other goodies bolted to a Currie F9 rear-end housing featuring a 5.13 ring and pinion.
The end result is nothing short of a spectacular driving truck that turns heads where ever it goes. It mashes over desert terrain with ease, hauls his dirt bikes to the track and checked all the boxes of what a clean over the top Raptor needs to be.
